Dr. Bosler has his Bachelor’s of Science (BS) in Biology from Juniata College, and his Masters and Doctorate in Entomology from Rutgers University. He is the very person who collected the infected ticks from Shelter Island that were sent to Dr. Burgdorfer, in which Willy discovered the new pathogen. Without Ed. there would have been no discovery! He is an unsung hero!
Ed started his career as Sr. Research Scientist and Associate Professor, Division of Infectious Diseases, Dept. Medicine, Stony Brook University, NY Div. of Infectious Diseases, Dept Medicine, Stony Brook University.

On a personal note, Ed is one of the funniest, kindest, and nicest people alive and fit perfectly with the other Board members.
